Wealth Advisor
For John Staton, a life of service has always come naturally. After 20 years of honorable service in the U.S. Navy, he retired with a wealth of experience, discipline, and leadership earned through multiple roles as a Navy SEAL. Over two decades, he led cross-functional teams in some of the world’s most challenging environments and advised partner forces on missions across Africa, Southwest Asia, and Europe.
As his military chapter came to a close, John set his sights on a new mission; helping individuals and families achieve financial peace and long-term security. Backed by an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he dual-majored in Finance and Entrepreneurship and Innovation, John brings a strategic, solutions-driven mindset to his role at BlueSky Wealth Advisors.
Based in New Bern, North Carolina, John now applies the same commitment, integrity, and teamwork that defined his military service to every client relationship. He’s currently a CFP® candidate and is passionate about helping people turn complex financial challenges into clear, actionable plans.
