Financial Planning Associate

Elizabeth Ritchie’s journey into wealth management is rooted in both curiosity and care. Originally from the coastal town of Morehead City, North Carolina, she developed a deep appreciation for community and connection early on. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, she began her career at Wells Fargo’s Private Bank, where she spent nearly two years working with high-net-worth clients.

While Elizabeth gained valuable experience in the corporate world, she longed for something more personal, a space where she could offer thoughtful financial guidance and truly know the people she served. In 2025, that search brought her to BlueSky Wealth Advisors.

Now based in New Bern, North Carolina, Elizabeth brings a strong foundation in client service, a deep connection to the local community, and a desire to help individuals make confident financial decisions. In her role as a Financial Planning Associate, she combines technical knowledge with integrity and empathy, ensuring that every client feels both seen and supported.

Credentials and Education

BA, Business Administration (Finance) — University of North Carolina at Pembroke

What Core Value Do You Resonate with Most?

Integrity — I believe that always doing what’s right for clients is essential to building trust and delivering ethical advice.

What's Your Favorite Part of Working at BlueSky?

The team-first mentality at BlueSky is what stands out most. I thrive in an environment where collaboration is celebrated, and colleagues are always ready to lend support or share a win.

What Do You like to do Outside of the Office?

When not working, you’ll likely find me outdoors—on the tennis court, the golf course, a hiking trail, or out fishing. I am also an avid skier and enjoy long walks, shopping, and winding down with my favorite shows.

While living in Charlotte, I volunteered at a church soup kitchen, a women’s domestic violence shelter, and community meal-packing events; I plan to continue volunteering in New Bern.

I played collegiate golf in college, where I won back-to-back championships and won/ was nominated for several different awards.

Fun fact: I’m a classically trained pianist who, at one point, could play seven different instruments.
